The Graphics of Today

Hi,

Today I came across a new video of Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed. At first I was looking at it, and I told myself "Wow!", this Pagani Zonda looks really nice. I seriously thought it was an actual promo from Pagani themselves. Then I realised ofcourse that it is not from Pagani, and that it's just a fan made video. This then made me wonder how much of a leap games have made in a short amount of time. It was only about 15 or more years ago that we were playing some really pixelated games, and now games look so life like. Racing games have made incredible leaps compared to other games. I think this is because in a Racing game a developer only needs to concentrate on cars and gameplay. Rest is just a track, trees, and grass. I don't think those three demand anything in terms of power and development. That's what was on my mind today, is just the major leaps we as gamers, developers, and the world have come in terms of virtual graphics. Have a nice day!

SOCOM 4: Experience it the best way possible!

Socom 4 is almost near its release date (April 19th, 2011) and you may be looking into the move compatibilities of the game. I have not tried it yet with SOCOM4 but I have tried the move controller with the sharpshooter attachment with Killzone 3 and loved it. PlayStation Home Core Client Update

PlayStation Home will be having a new update sometime this week. Announced by Community Manager CydoniaX. The update will be released this Tuesday, June 01, 2010, at around 2pm PST/5PM EST. There haven't been any saying on what this update will bring, but playstationlifestyle thinks it will be an update to fix the many bugs inside HOME. It could be just that, or even more spectacular, only time will tell. For me personally it doesn't matter since I barely use the HOME feature. Ill see what happens after the update, and if it is a dramatic change, ill look into it a bit more.

Not much has been discussed about the PlayTv 2, but it has been announced.


TwistDock for the PS3

This accessory wa s already released in the UK, but its now ready to make its debut in the US. It holds onto your ps3 in a nice way, and also hold up to 2 ps3 controllers. Not only does it hold the controllers, it also charges them at the same time. The twistdock also contains 4 ex tra USB ports, therefore in total you will have 6 U SB ports. The pr ice has not bee n yet announced, but it is pr iced at €79,99, in the UK.
